Have you or best personal loan anyone else heard of this arrangement with the H4H agents? My understanding was they got personal loans for bad credit not payday loans a fee from the Feds for doing this. To me it sounds like the agent is trying to cover costs. Many are doing loan modifications that add late payments to the end of the loan personal small loans or reduce the interest rate to keep the payment affordable. I am hoping that the practice of principal personal loans for bad credit not payday loans reduction catches on, but until it does these agents may do a lot of work with few positive results. As far as the fee for the agent from the feds, I know that there are some incentives out there for lenders to modify their own loans, and with the change in H4H FHA will pay off the 2nd (not full value, but a little cash to get them to release their loan).

I have not heard of third party lenders getting a fed payment for their work. They will collect the loan origination fees if the deal closes. I have heard a lot of people speak bad about this program, how its a bad deal to share equity and appreciation with the government.

There was a verbal agreement between Aurora, this agent from the H4H list and my cousin that all would work together to solve her problem. The packet was never sent to her nor has she been offered any returns to her phone calls or offered any other solutions.

The country, for those who may have missed the news, is in the midst of a foreclosure meltdown and HUD has hurried help with all the immediacy and urgency of FEMA after Hurricane Katrina. In the first 15 days of the month, 69 people nationwide applied for financing under the Hope of Homeowners program. H4H, you will recall, was supposed to help as many as 400,000 borrowers avoid foreclosure and poverty. HUD is maintaining its perfect record in this category and — even though more liberal standards have been approved. To date it has yet to approve a single Hope for Homeowners mortgage application.

So far a total of 180 H4H applications have been received since October 1st. Since October 1st HUD has allowed 142 borrowers nationwide to dump toxic loans in favor of FHA financing. These numbers plainly say that FHA financing is in demand, which is as it should be. The numbers also suggest that the FHA program is evolving into something which best serves well-qualified middle-class borrowers with solid credit scores. The conflict, of course, is that many people would have better credit if they did not have toxic loans and soaring payments. If they could refinance with an FHA loan they would have lower and more predictable payments, and thus their credit scores would likely rise. The original idea behind the FHA program, of course, was to take on riskier borrowers and make them less risky by allowing them to borrow on a sane basis. That personal loans for bad credit not payday loans was the thought in the 1930s, and it is a thought worth reconsidering today. Since 2007, the LoanSafe forums have helped millions of homeowners over the last 13 years either save their homes with a loan modification, obtain a short sale, forbearance, or walk away legally from their underwater mortgages. Newman, I thought no doc and stated were one in the same. I agree this is most frustrating process ever personal loans for bad credit not payday loans dealt with and only the most tenacious achieve results... It would be great if these programs would work instead of add more obstacles, expenses and ultimately no acceptance plans. We see how lacking the mortgage industry is with voluntary help. Maybe Obama will see that it is not going to work to mobilize our country into recovery. If they want true and positive help, they should mandate those that made predatory loans to surrender the properties to the victims of predatory lending to build America. Even though we were approved on the loan itself, some dumbazz in DC decided that stated income loans were not eligable for the refi. Reason being that the feds consider stated income loans to be fraudulant loans. And since our loan officer beefed up our income without our knowing it, we could not prove the income. So even though we make 6 figures now, that does not matter to them. Since October of last year, when we started working on this project, SPS kind of put us in limbo as far as foreclosure. After talking with a few people about the modification aspect of this house, the things they are seeing lenders do now were unheard of back then. Tell you the truth, if I can modify this loan, get it to the same numbers I was going to refi at, I would be in a much better position going forward.
ONly thing left is fast loans bad credit a federal lawsuit claiming mortgage fraud by the lender.... I had to bring all kinds of income documents, but in the end the broker got it as a stated income. Good news, I finally stopped paying on this house (was late on the 16 of June).

Before I did, I went a bought a new truck, credit was 799!

Good move Gary on getting the truck at 799 credit rating.

Thanks for the update Newman regarding the state of H4H and the moves lenders are going to regarding to mods at below principal, 40 year terms and realistic interest rates. You both are the only human face that I have seen on this program H4H and both of you have went to extremes trying to get this program to work.

I have never in my life done so much to get so little from so many....

So, now that it is over, I can tell you that the loan we were after was a short refi. Keep us in your prayers and know that God never gives you more than you can handle, and that ultimately, I place our lives in his control... If so It would be funny to see what they would have made if they would have just done that back in October?

I picked up one day (they never leave messages) and it was a recording telling personal loans for bad credit not payday loans me to hold for a representative.

The second sent me a letter a few weeks ago telling me to contact them.

The first finally sent me a letter last week telling me to contact them. The most interesting thing is I received a letter from Triad Guaranty Insurance, quick money loans they insure my first (I do not pay PMI).

They want me to contact them to research my options.

Hopefully the first Mortgage Insurance people offer practical and positive options in order to get you on track again.

You would think that the default insurance company would actively work to sell off your loan to a lender who could write the loan to affordable conditions. Realistically I believe they will not suggest loan modification. It was a transfer early in the default and during BK chapter 13. Struggling to manage mortgage plus other household expenses... Could H4H help me or will my lender say no to them too?

I even thought of finding someone to buy my house and then rent it back to me. Never in my carrier have I felt more gratified than when I call a person that is losing their home to tell them about H4H and save them from despair.

Well, at the time that the H4H program started I was working with bank that made it their first priority to become the leading competitor with this particular loan program.

Short term loans bad credit

Actually what helped us the most was the fact that some lenders of the home in trouble approached our bank to take over these troubled loans. When the program first came out it was a free for all. Imagine, we were calling borrowers with upside down mortgages, to tell them that we were working with their current lender to relieve them from their current mortgage situation. I know I am jaded, so take this all with a grain of salt. I think what your company was doing was a short refi (under the H4H terms) which makes a lot of sense to me, but the majority of banks are not joining in. If you truly helped 30 people that is awesome, I am not trying to put that down, I am just trying to figure out the reality of H4H success?

Since 2007, the LoanSafe forums have helped millions of homeowners over the last 13 years either save their homes with a loan modification, obtain a short sale, forbearance, or walk away legally from their underwater mortgages.

I would tell you, but am afraid to ruin the kharma... I will tell you the final part of this story after we close and record... Never take no for an answer, never give up, never let them see you sweat. Now, get back at it, and post something we can use.

H4H DOES allow for principal reductions, but in the form of a short refi. Lets get something straight, there is a huge difference between a principle reduction, and a short refi.

Knowing that difference will save you a lot of time and grief and misery.

The Obama plan is for the most part still guidelines for the banks. The incentive to them to play ball is stimulus money. But not all banks need the money, thus, not all banks care anything about any of what instant loans online for bad credit Obama has to say. There is no proverbial carrot for them to get them to play ball. Those of you with loans to these banks, may encounter a wall of epic proportions when trying to get anything done. And, is it possible for need money now bad credit Obama to say take a principle reduction or else?

And is it possible for a bank to tell him to pound sand? Until he makes it law, no one is listening, and I mean no one.
